About the event
Dr. Neher got his Ph.D. in Neuroscience at the University of Cambridge in 2009, worked as a Postdoc at the Hertie Institute and DZNE Tübingen, and became a group leader of Neuroimmunology and Neurodegenerative Disease in 2015. Among other things, his current research investigates how age-related changes, protein aggregation as well as vascular dysfunction synergise to drive Alzheimer's disease.
